Our lab draws researchers from Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, Optical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, and related fields.
Prospective Graduate Students
If you are interested in working with our lab, please email us first, before submitting a formal application. Reaching out first lets you learn about openings and fit before investing time and money in applying. If there is a good mutual fit, we will encourage you to apply to the relevant University of Arizona graduate program (Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Physics) and to name Prof. Zafer Mutlu as your faculty of interest. You are also welcome to apply directly. Admission decisions are made by each department, and a formal application is always required.
